Reception Zones

Area Signal Quality Notes
Old Scarlet Strong Normal reception. Station identification tone should repeat every hour.
Hollow Hill Strong Occasional bell-tone overlap reported during fog watches.
Saint Mercy Stable Primary coverage zone. Minor distortion near church property.
South Docks Unstable Reports of delayed broadcasts and duplicate emergency tones.
Redwater Bay Clear after midnight Clarity may be anomalous. Do not improve antenna direction toward open water.
Mirewater Variable Static may contain local names. Keep radios below conversational volume.
Blackglass Island Not recommended Station identification unreliable after sunset.

Dead Zones

The following locations are not covered by WSCR, despite listener claims:

  • The old ferry terminal after closure
  • Service Road 8 during fog watches
  • Any room beneath Saint Mercy Church
  • Unmarked structures along The Long Crossing
  • ██████████████████
